What students can expect
The Travel Agent Online Training Program will teach you all you need to know to start a travel career. You'll learn about ground transportation and the airline industry, hotels and resorts, cruises, tours, international and domestic travel, reservations and pricing, and more.
This online program consists of two modules. You'll first participate in a travel career development program, which will teach you the basics of the travel industry. This module will be followed by your choice of computer reservation system training. You'll choose which you want to learn, including SABRE, WORLDSPAN, APOLLO, GALILEO, or AMADEUS GDS systems.

Requirements
Hardware Requirements:
- This course can be taken on either a PC, Mac, or Chromebook.
Software Requirements:
- PC: Windows 8 or later.
- Mac: macOS 10.6 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.
Other:
- Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.
Instructional Material Requirements:
The instructional materials required for this course are included in enrollment. The following textbooks will be shipped to you:
- Travel Career Development and accompanying workbook
- Exploring the World, Geography for the Travel Professional and accompanying workbook
Prerequisites
There are no specific prerequisites for this program. This program is for you if you want to enhance your travel industry knowledge or jump-start your career in the travel industry.
